Sunpentown
is primarily a design, development, and manufacturing company for small home
appliances. While holding the largest market share in Taiwan for induction
cooktops and microwave ovens, Sunpentown enjoys a constant and solid growth
in overseas markets as well.
Since the establishment of the company, it has been a key objective to
develop and manufacture various kinds of new products on an annual basis. In
order to diversify its manufacturing base, Sunpentown has various products
produced by subcontracted companies in Taiwan and overseas which meet the
strict standards and requirements of Sunpentown quality assurance control.
Having manufactured well over 1000,000 induction cooktops in 1996 alone and
occupying over 70% of the domestic market, Sunpentown is the largest single
producer of induction cooktops in the world. Further strengthening its
position as the leader of induction technology, Sunpentown is proud to
introduce a new line of uniquely competitive built-in and Wok induction
cooktops for the emerging global markets of 1998.
Future Development
The constant enhancement of technological designs in its home appliance
product lines allows the Sunpentown engineers to meet the highly selective
demands of the market, thus maintaining a life of satisfaction and comfort
for all customers.
With the combination of having a great potential as a rising market and a
historic bond with Taiwan, Sunpentown is driven to invest vast resources
towards its solid growth within the future growth of the market productivity
and economic development in China.
Sunpentown maintains its position as a growing player with in the markets of
Europe and the Americas, seeing in the near future the establishment of more
branch offices and production facilitles in both regions.
